About Us
Swallowfield Farm is run by Martha Tubman, DVM and husband Jonathan. Martha has been an emergency and critical care veterinarian since 2004, and has raised dogs, cats, horses, cattle, sheep, goats, chickens and goodness knows what else. We are enthusiastic Swissy and Farmdog owners and love our furry family members.
I am a member of the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club of America, Chesapeake and Potomac Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club, Mid Atlantic Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club, Danish-Swedish Farmdog Club of America, Commonwealth Dog Owners Training Club (currently serving as president) as well as multiple veterinary organizations. We live in beautiful Madison Heights, VA.
We strive to raise puppies in the best possible way- selecting well trained as well as conformation and temperamentally correct breeding stock, raising them with Puppy Culture training as well as plenty of exercise, exposure to new things and the great outdoors.
